Bilateral loss on the trunk is virtually always adrenal disease, and
losing the fur over the sacrum is on the signature places to lose the
fur with adrenal disease. The sacrum is the part of the lower back
just above the tail.

If you are in Europe or in Australia (and I think also parts of Asia)
and can't find a ferret knowledgeable vet then tell the vet about the
deslorelin implant to use.

If you are in the U.S. there are more lists of ferret vets and if you
can't find one then Lupron Depot and melatonin implant.
