Actually, Laurel, our female has the coarsest fur of the four.  Our last
female 's coat was about like the others.
 
There is one gender question I have for everybody, though.  Are female
ferrets generally smarter?  Both of ours have been, and the other males I've
known haven't seemed to even come close to my little girls.
