In response to where you are and how many ferrets you have....
 
How about this one?  I grew up in Massachusetts and lived there with four
of my five until a year ago October.
 
I got my fifth when I had been here just under a year, and here is in the
very southern reaches of New Hampshire.  It takes four minutes to cross
the border into Massachusetts.
 
So, do we get to count as two states? Hehehe.

really Massholes (a fond nickname for Mass residents, kind of like we call
people from Maine Mainiacs) at heart but living in Southern New Hampshire
