In regard to the question on flea control, I am NOT a vet, but have been
a tech for the shelter for more than a few years. We have been using
advantage with great success over the years at Ferret Wise. Of course when
you first discover fleas you will also want to treat the rooms, we use a
safe spray application we obtain from a local vet and return the ferrets
upon the area drying Advantage 1-2 drops is administered on the back of the
neck - place it against the skin-- do not rub it in with your finger! Once
it has been absorbed into the ferrets system it will protect them for a
month! The fleas will die when the try to take blood by biting your
animal.

Of all the products we have used Advantage seems to be the easiest and east
likely to cause a medical problem. Check with your vet, but it has done
wonders here!
