Hi All!

Ok, I was gonna try to get my stuff together, but I guess people found me
without me announcing it!

It is semi-official! We have opened a shelter! It is called Weasel
Watchers Ferret Rescue and we have already gotten our first 2 rescues.
These two are 2 year old MF albinos - male & female - Snow White &
Snowball. They need lots of tlc and FOOD! Poor babies were forced to eat
dog food because the owners ran out of ferret food. They needed to get rid
of them ASAP as the kids weren't taking care of them. They had two big,
fat cats & a fat little dog - the ferrets are rail thin - how can people
sleep at night knowing an animal in their care is hungary? They are thin
and dirty, but other than that they look fine (no ear mites, no fleas,
etc). They need shots and the female needs some people silss as she has a
habit of nipping (so I am told).

So - can anybody direct me to getting started as a rescue - like forms, how
to be non-profit, how to get my name out there, how to get discounts, etc.?

And special thatnks to Gina Hart for healp with the surrender agreements!
