Several people emailed me about hose.  The "strong enough to stand on"
hose is rather expensive but it does hold up a REALLY long time.
 
I found a store on the Net that has 4"x50' clear hose for $45.99.  This
is not the really heavy duty hose but is thicker than dryer hose, kind
of in the middle.
