I trained mine to come to a whistled rendition of "Pop Goes The Weasel"  It
works great in the house, but I found when a ferret escapes outside it's
hard to whistle when you're crying.  I tried a dog whistle but it hurt my
husband's ears!  (Hold the jokes, he's no "dog"!)
