This is a request for information about any special needs a 6 1/2 week old
ferret we are ferret sitting might have. She is not ours - her owner got
her from a pet store, and they told him she was "hand raised" and "very
gentle". Well, the first is probably true, the second is definitely not.
We are trying to start the process of trainig her not to nip. My question
is whether she needs anything extra in the way of food, liquids, etc. She
is eating solid food, but not being very good about drinking. By the way,
we both agree she is much too young, but she is not ours, so please don't
flame us.

Thanks in advance.

Shai (where's that teat?) and nine other ferrets ("Mom, what is that thing?"
Is it good to eat?"
