Hi, I just had to write, because I know exactly what you mean.  When my
one of my ferrets died, I was living in a place that I knew that I
wouldn't be living in for very long.  I was concerned about burrying
them, as someone might dig them up, etc.  Yet, I just couldn't afford the
cremation.
 
So, I decided to plant rose bushes over them, hoping that no one would
tear up the bushes.  Then, when I left, I was able to bring with me a
rose, that I had dried.
 
Now that we've moved to a more permanent house, we've selected an area for
the rose garden, for when the time comes.
