I have posted off and on.  I have know the loss of one of babies, I have
also been flamed by a shelter person here on the island where I live and
she even told me she would not adopt a ferret to me on that I lost Shadow,
because he found a stray foam ear plug, also I intended to meet the breeder
of Shadow (my vet gave me his #)this person was saying all kinds of nasty
things about him.  I met him and more of his ferrets, he was very nice and
his ferrets was handled and gave kisses.  He invited us to come up to his
place and see him and have a look at his place.  This breeder drives 2 hr.
to the vet with all his animals for them to take care of them.
 
I was still contact with this shelter person, after rereading her emails to
me, my Hubby decided we shouldn't have contact with her.  So we decided not
to get involved with the shelter.  I do keep a paper trail when things
happen that I need paperwork.
 
My heart goes out to the people pets who are missing or have passed away
over the Rainbow, I laugh when i see a happy story.
 
So PLEASE, take the time to think about flaming someone.  First put
yourself in their place see how you would feel if someone did this to you.
This is one of the reason that we lose long time members of the FLM's.
Because they are putting their brain in gear before even thinking it out,
what the results will cost them.
 
Please, Remember we are imperfect, we do make mistakes, we pay for our
mistakes, we can also learn from our mistakes.  We are to loving to each
other and to the animals, be ready to forgive the other person if they make
a mistake, also be there when a pet is lost or died.  Other wise we will
lose more members from here.
 
So I will pray that each one of you take a long hard look at yourselves
before flaming anyone.  i pray to God that Podo is found, that each of you
will be more understanding with the other FLM's from now on.  Sorry it is
so long.
