Keep in mind that baby food is NOT nutritionally complete for a ferret,
but is great for an upset stomach.  It's very good for a ferret with
ulcers, but isn't great for long-term feeding.
 
Chicken gravy, on the other hand, IS complete, and you can feed a ferret
for life very well on it.
 
I sometimes feed a mixture of both, for the gentleness of the baby food
with a nutritional boost from the gravy.
 
In a pinch, baby food alone is better than nothing, though.
