Hello all, I thought it would be good to pass on a bit of good news...

Oliver, who we got from a girl who was crack addicted, is recovering
quite well. He has gained about 3/4 pound and still going. Boy, he
loves his soup! And to think he didn't even know what it was when we
got him!! LOL! His motor control in his back end has improved with the
everyday play to the point that he tried running for the first time
last week Thursday. He would bolt and at first he was okay, but as he
went further, he'd slowly loose control and the back chassie would
start wobbling side to side, then he'd stop, Catch a breath, then try
again. Each time, he was so excited! you could see it on his little
face. Boy, was he tired at nappy time!!! He lay down next to me on his
blanket, so he could watch the other kids play some more, but I could
tell he was just happy! He plays longer and longer each day, I don't
think it will be long before he plays as long as everyone else.
Yesterday, he tried something new!!!! He played mountain goat. He
actually was able to climb up on the sofa, This is something he hasn't
been able to do before. It's such a good feeling to see him getting
better and better!! These little guys never cease to amaze me with
their resilience and their tenacity. He still acts a little dopey in
the head, but I don't know if that will ever change, I have never
learned the extent of his exposure to the second hand crack smoke. I
guess, in the end, the only thing that matters is that he is here,
where we love him, he will have the best of everything for the rest
of his life, and I will never allow anyone to hurt him or his little
friend ever again. For now, I can't wait to see him running with the
gang and not wobbling!! When that happens, we're gonna have an
Ollie-ball party!! (Ollie love jingle balls.) Ps on another note, his
little bitey friend who came with him, (Lollie Pop), has settled and
she is no longer biting, though still a bit skiddish about noises.
We're working on that too. They are beautiful little kids. I'm glad
I could help them.

Cindy and the whole gang
So short in our lives but forever in our hearts, Ferrets

We're all here, except some of us who aren't,
Though some of us who aren't all here, are....
