boy, i would really *love* to go to a show like this to see some ferrets.  they
are illegal here in dallas, richardson, plano, garland, mesquite, and irving
texas.  (i know i called all around trying to find a good place to get one).
 
in fact the only place in the surrounding area that they are not illegal is
fort worth texas and that is quite a piece from here.  i would also assume that
the only place that a vet could be found would be fort worth as well.
 
i have a question regarding the hardiness of ferrets.  are they more susceptible
to illness than other household pets like cats and dogs?  i ask because i mostly
see postings to this mailing list about sick ferrets.  is that just because
that is all people post about or is that because their constitution is not as
strong as cats and dogs?
