Greetings all;

Camphor is an essential oil. Essential oils have been used more
frequently with the wave of "new age," only to find out all that is
natural is not good for everyone. The phenols in many essesntial oils
are actually toxic to the liver of different animals. Kind of like
letting the kids draw and design with toxic magic markers that cause
liver damage. Ferrets are all nose - if anything is strong to us, I
would imagine it would be overpowering and hurtful to their sensitive
systems. I know Carol Komitor addresses this in her Healing Touch for
Animals classes where she utilizes essential oils on the animals she
works to heal.

Hope this helps, LJ
