To Lisa,
Most ferrets make a great recovery after adrenal surgery provided the
surgery was done soon enough it sounds as though you were in denial about
your ferret having adrenal disease.  Maybe you should have done more
research before buying ferrets you would have known they are predisposed
to adrenal disease as well as other diseases.  If more people did research
before getting an animal there wouldn't be so many in shelters.  Not just
ferrets but dogs and cats as well.
