Well, response was overwhelming so we have indeed activated an eGroup
mailing lists for rescuers. Due to questions, I'll make a couple of
points clear.

It is primarily set up as a place where ferret shelter operators, rescuers
and foster homes have a place for questions, help, venting etc.

HOWEVER:
1. Topics are not limited to rescue cases only. As rescuers, sometimes
we also need a laugh, a smile, a happy story to help keep us going.

2. Membership is not restricted to those groups. Anyone is welcome to
join. if you ever helped a fuzzy, adopted a rescue or are just curious
about the world of rescue, feel free. *Personally I think those who have
adopted rescues have special needs because of the problems sometimes
incurred in the ferrets past*

3. Not restricted to ferrets, yes it is set up for and will mostly be
but if you also rescue dogs, cats, horses whatever, feel free to share.
ALL rescuers go though the same issues no matter what the animal.

4. This group is in no way intended to replace posting on the FML, boards,
other lists etc.. just as an alternative to speak directly with other
rescuers.

If you would like to join, please visit:

Thank you for all the support.
Susan
