Well I went to get the refill on ferret food today and just had to see the
little furries. Well not to my surprise they were too young. There was a
little girl and a little boy. Needless to say their names are Bambi and
Faline. I could not say no after the little boy started gagging after he
ate. I thought he was choking. The pet store only said that it was
because he had eaten too fast. I of course knew different and decided to
take a leap of faith and bring them both home with me. Neither of them
can eat solid food. Also Faline seems to have a tooth chipped. They will
drink out of a kitten bottle but not off my finger. It will be a long
night. She does not want to eat much but he just pigs down. They will be
going to the vet first thing Monday morning. Just for the simple fact that
they seem to sneezing a bit much. One more thing when I was holding Faline
she was sleeping and started dreaming is what I thought at first but then
she would not wake up. I was thinking a heavy ferret night mare but she
would not wake up and was convulsing. To make matters worse she lost
control of her bladder and urinated all over me. I am one who freaks out
over the little things and I tell you what that was a real heart attack.
I would like to know if anyone has ever had that happen before. We don't
have an emergency vet that is ferret knowledgable hear. Should I be really
worried or just semi-worried? Also if I could hear about the other ferrets
that were sshipped too young. I really need advice. They are eating the
duck soup. And are getting water. But are not really weened and i need to
know when to start weening them. I would really appreciate any help anyone
could give me.

Dooks and Blessings to all

Linda, Misty, Thumpper, Flower, Bambi, and Faline
