Note however that over the last several months, many credit card
companies have started instituting a fee for just such transactions.
Guess they discovered an easy source of more profit. :-(
 
Shortly before traveling to other countries, you may want to contact
your credit card companies to see who charges these fees and what they
are so you can use the cheapest card.
