Hello,

I'm writing in respond to Jennifer's message. I live in NY city and share a
studio with my ferret - P.T. P.T. is an angora European sable ferret, and
she is 9 months old. I don't know so much about the low in NY, but if you
ask P.T. she will tell you that she thinks NY is a VERY ferret-friendly
place.

I've also heard somewhere that you need a permit in NY, however, I couldn't
find out more details about it, and I never had a problem with it.

I take P.T. every Sunday to central park and she always manage to attract a
crowd around her. People love her and she likes to play with the children
and the dogs.

In the beginning I didn't know if I should be afraid from the cups, but it
turned out they are her biggest fans.

Also, as I understood from the FML there are quite a few vets who treat
ferrets in the city. I'm taking P.T. to the Animal Medical Center which
has two very good vets how specialize in ferrets.

And don't worry about buying staff for him, NYC has a lot to offer for
ferrets.

I hope this help you others who live in NY.
WELLCOME TO THE BIG APPLE !!
