Getting a Puppy

We are getting an English Springer Spaniel Puppy to add to my collection
of "kids".  My three human kids (Corey, Conor, and Raven), my husband and
our two ferrets Nikki and Dunk'n.  Plus 3 Angel Fish, 5 Tetras, 3 Cory
Doras, and 1 bristlenose cat.  Oh and can't forget the 1 Betta.
 
Any suggestions for introductions so everyone will live happily under one
roof???
