Hello everyone!

Hope fuzzies and their humans had a wonderful valentines day and are doing
well.

About a month ago I wrote asking if anyone knew of a shelter or sitter in
the Houston/Clear Lake area who could watch my babies while I was visiting
family & friends in Florida. Unfortunately, I received no replies, so I
went searching via the yellow pages. No luck their, either. Then my
Sully's Godmommy (the local shelter mom) told me of a new kennel called
Barkington Inn (located on Blossom & HWY 3 just behind Medical Center Blvd.
in Webster). I went to visit and was quite impressed.

Barkington Inn is a kennel/cattery (the ferts will be staying in the
cattery), grooming & training facility. It is a very clean and friendly
facility. I took my Sully with me (he is the biggest; most people are
leary of big ferrets) just to see their reaction. He got a very big
welcome. Everyone wanted to hold them. "T****" (the Mgr.) told everyone I
had seven and it was said that that they (the workers) were going to have a
fun time when my kids arrived! (I had Sully on a leash and he had a great
time running around the floor of the cattery, which had no traction. He
kept slipping and tripping; his tail was fluffed out because he had such a
great time).

One can check out Barkington Inn by going to their websight

Also, if anyone wishes to contribute to a shelter (or is looking to adopt a
ferret in the Clear Lake area of Houston), please contact:
