It has been brought to our attention that there may be a conflict
between the name of our organization and one on the east coast.  It has been
determined by our staff that we should file for a change of name to avoid
any problems.  So on Nov.  13, 1995, the california organization known as
The National Ferret Association will file for a name change.
 
    The name will be The National Ferret Registry.  It is hoped that this
does not cause any confusion.  We do not know who started using the name
first, but in the spirit of fairness and good faith, we have decided to yeld
and change our name, it better describes our organization anyway.......
