I don't know if ink i is harmful but some one brought in a nice silver grey
ferret with red eyes. MMMmmmm... what is this I ask, revering to the colour,
The answer was "I use old newspapers for bedding".
 
I use new or second hand nappies and then I go for the nice soft
brushed one's.

[Moderator's note: Yeah, as far as toner from a home laser printer goes,
it's basically OK once it's been fused to the paper by the printer.  The
material safety data sheet on the stuff specifies it more of an inhalation
hazard when still loose in the cartridge.  BIG]
