I have been on the list for about 2 months, but I have only had ferrets
about three weeks and I have a few questions.

1. Lex will nip (no pressure just grabbing my finger and letting go) and
wrestle with me once in a while, but this is about the only interaction they
have with me or my wife unless it's time for a treat, or we hold them and
get them to cuddle and kiss (short amount of time then "I WANT DOWN") how do
most of you play with your ferrets?

2. Dooks, Hissing, War dancing, So far I don't think I have seen any of
these. When Lex and Gidget are wrestling they will make a few little noises
that sound like they may be almost crying out in pain (just little, short
whine I think from Gidget, but she can hold her own and I even starts the
wrestling at times so I don't think she is getting hurt) I have also heard
both make a little huff almost like a cough or gasp, is this a short Hiss or
a Dook?

3. The people we got Lex and Gidget from did not litter train them, they
kept paper in the bottom of the cage (wire bottom with tray underneath,
paper in tray) this is OK, but I think it might be better to litter train
them, iw this true, and where do I start? should I start with a box with
paper in it (since they are use to going on paper? Or should I start with
litter?

Thanks for all your help, I am sure I will have more questions later, but
this is probably all for now
