Well I'm considering purchasing a 2004 Olds Alero and since it's actually
the ferret transport mobile I'd like opinions on whether or not this is a
good reliable car. The one I'm looking at is a program car with 35,000
miles (which seems high to me but the dealer might throw in a 100,000
mile extended warranty which would make it more reasonable). I need a
vehicle large enough to transport the surgery cages to the vets,
comfortable enough ride so the ferrets won't be bothered and of course
good air conditioning and heat.

I also looked at the Elantra's and Spectra's though they are smaller than
the Alero and don't ride as smoothly.

If anyone has opinions about these cars would you please email me
privately at [log in to unmask]

I figured since this is our ferret mobile it was ferret related and could
post to the list. ;-)

When we go to the vets I sit the ferret's cage on a plastic file box so
they can see out the windows. They enjoy our trips more this way as they
can look out and when we get into town I roll the window down and they
can smell all the city smells (which might not be good for their health
but it sure is interesting to them).

Thanks!
