The ear thermometers do work on ferrets and you can take their temps under
their little armpits. I'd always thought that huge thermometer that was
used for all animals including reptiles was painful so we tried using a
thermometer under the armpit and it worked.

Lost Boys - I had to go home and watch my tape to see what that little
critter was and it is a rat. Am I the only one with this movie on tape?
:-) The movie was also on TV last night.

A friend was reading a childrens book to her daughter and it mentioned that
ferrets were pets of vampires. Can't remember the name of the book though.

Also an article in our paper had a quote from our exotics specialist. He
stated that Iguanas aren't very far removed from the wild and that is why
they don't show signs of illness till it is almost too late, because in the
wild if they show illness the predators take them. I found that quite
interesting because if a ferret even has a sniffle they think they might be
dying. Unfortunately that particular newspaper was ummmmm... used by the
ferrets.

I have a one page info sheet on insulinoma I can email if anyone needs it.

Hugs to all. tle
