Help, Everyone,
 
Everyone who has been following the story of Lucky.  Today I received a
very curt type of letter from the general manager of the store Mr.
Rogers.  I had earlier written to request a number for the corporate
office.  Someone HAD called me but not left a return address.  Anyway,
THIS is what I got.
 
I am aware of the kit ferret in which your concerns are based.  It is also
my understanding that the ferret perished while in your care as the store
personnel entrusted it (IT!! not him, IT!!) to your self-proclaimed
expertise (I have had 9 ferrets over the coarse of 61/2 years AND!!  I
never claimed to be an expert or that I would cure him.  They knew Lucky
was going directly to my vet!)
 
Please let me know how I can be of assistance to you as requested.
 
1. THIS is the man that denied treatment for Lucky!!
 
2. Please tell me, how can ferrets die from dehydration(severe) and
   poss/probable ulcers in ONE HOUR!!!!!!!!!???????
 
I really believe guys that this man is trying to blame Lucky's death on
ME!!!!  Oh, and also, Where is the phone number I requested in the first
place?  This is a man from the corporate office.  His name is Mr. Wayne
Ketcham.  He called me a while ago, but did not leave a return number.  I
was hoping he'd call back.
 
He told me that the matter had been forwarded to the vice-pres. of the
company.
 
I need ANY and all back-up I can get, be it support and or medical Data.
Lucky was severely dehydrated, black tarry stools(explosive at the vet to
the point they had to throw out all towel he had be on.)
 
The very first thing in the morning I am calling my wonderful vet and
another of his colleagues to get a letter as to why Lucky died.  And to
PROVE(not that I should have to) that I had absolutely nothing to do with
his death by playing EXPERT.  C'mon guys, any fool could have seen that
baby needed medical care days prior to when I took him.  This is very
upsetting.  I hope you can try to understand what I may be up against and
lend me a hand, because I have a feeling I'm going to need one.
