I'm sitting by a computer, as I do most nights at this time, but
tonight I don't really know where to start. Tonight things are turned
around -- I'm writing a note to the FML instead of only reviewing
yours.

I'm a bit overwhelmed. Sukie snuck a website under my radar (next post)
and there are a huge number of comments there. Marylou wrote an article
about the FML. Many of you wrote a note either directly to me or to the
FML.

The problem is, I like ferrets because I THINK like a ferret. In other
words, I have the attention span of a ferret. Reading all these things
without interrupting to hunt a sock or two is difficult. It's a lot to
take in. Who knows, maybe as I get older my mind will deteriorate and
I'll begin to poop in corners. (At least there are some bright spots,
for example I'm pretty sure I'll never be able to lick my anus.)
Anyhow, your notes are moving and are deeply appreciated. It took a
while but I really did read them all.

But back to the FML. Give yourselves a pat on the back. You might have
been reading the FML for 25 years or perhaps for just a day, maybe you
only glance or maybe you frequently post, but you're here because you
care. For this, I thank you and your ferrets thank you. Yes, I'm
pleased to be able to facilitate the process but that's all I do --
the rest is up to you.

So, like I said, tonight things are turned around. Most nights I get to
do the easy part. You, and the thousands before and after you, have the
difficult part. Again, thank you all.
