Hello ferret folk --

All is well here. It all feels so good that, unless there is a major
change, I shall sell my Calif house when I get back in May. I haven't
told you some main things about my history here in Addis, but that must
wait for another email. Lots of running around right now getting set
up, and time is esp short today.

Our vet is coming over tomorrow AM to see one of my small dogs who
is a little under the weather and to get introduced to the ferrets.
especially tiny white adrenal Ada.

Unfortunately the ferrety books are still hung up in Customs, but
Ada is doing well. She's gained weight and put on fur. Though she has
less fur than the others, who still have a lot of their Northern Calif
winter coats, I tell her that she is ahead of the game of losing the
dense coat to adjust to the warm weather here.

We are about to assemble the Ferret Nations cage in the hallway between
the front door and the livingroom to put and, when we get it out of
Customs, we will put the wonderful Kritter Koncepts paypen in my
bedroom. This will mean constucting an overhead tunnel from their
outside pen to the house, and then making a junction box for them to
choose where to go next.

More later!
