Hey gang... I've been reading the FML for a while 'lurking' as they call it.
I'm glad to see that Michigan finally legalized ferrets. Congrats to GLFA for
their efforts to get this done! i understand that the GCFA has been getting
calls from MI Humane Societies for info and help in getting their people
better trained to handle ferrets that come in. Does the GLFA have a shelter
yet? Might be a good idea to have more than one so one doesn't get too
overloaded.  On the same note... does anyone in MI have a copy of the
legislation? Roger McMillian, VP of GCFA would like a copy to post in the
newsletter "Off the Paw".  PLease e-mail him c/o
