Good luck with the baby gate!  I tried one on Bandit when he was little,
and soon gave up.  I had a sheet of formica fastened to the inside of his
baby gate in an effort to keep him in the kitchen.  He kept finding a way to
crawl over it.  It got to be a battle of brain power between me and the
fuzzy Hoodini to keep him cooped up anywhere.  (He won!)  I gave up
and put him back in his cage, and even had to put a lock on it.  (The little
sucker figured out how to get out of that, too!)  He's much happier with
his now two companions in their new, much larger dwelling.  (They
better be!  I spent almost $300 on that thing!)
