Hi everybody,

Ok I have a bit of a concern here. Bear my big lug, dark sable, whom seems
to always be a concern with me. I had brought in two babies oh about 2
months ago whom unfortunetly gave my other two ferrets ECE. Anywho we've
been combatting this ever since. Syvia, a sweet tiny, black-eyed white mf
bounced right back hardly even effected her. Bear (maybe 10 months) on the
other hand had the greenies for ever, was extremely lethargic and lost his
appetite. We've been giving him nutrical with amorfal mixed in and
amoxycillin. He's been eating wet cat food now for the last month too
fairly well. The problem is he will seem completely well back to his
playful self, stools back to normal and as soon as I stop giving him the
amorfal he gets ill again. Though instead of greenies, its amazingly
liquid flying poo. back on it and it stops. My big concerns now are, how
the heck can i get him to eat hard food? (a problem we've had right from
the start 8 weeks old when we got him from a local breeder) And could he
have become dependent on the amorfal? I don't know how to get him off it,
I try and cut the dose (which is 1/5 of a tablet) and as soon as I do it
starts again.

As for the good stuff though, the new little guys Moby and Sid have fit
right in and our sharing the four storey condo with Sylivia and Bear. And
everyone agrees that the best fun in the whole world is when I take out the
small blanket and pull them all around on it. Great fun to try and dance
on a moving floor. Sid is a hyper little nut that won't stop chasing his
humans and insisting on climbing up legs if not picked up. Moby is more
the nervous nelly of the bunch, which my cats find such fun to sneek up
behind, and make him yell. Of course he spins right around and chases them
back up to the chairs where they belong! Sylvia thinks shes part rabbit
and will do anything for a carrot. And Bear is just a giant love when not
feeling well and full of himself when well.

And Barb I'm soo happy to hear your little fuzzbutt is all safe and sound.
