I am actually in Newark, De and I called the SPCA in Camden, De.  They
told me that they are a euthanising shelter but they keep the animals as
long as possible.  They told me they had 7 ferrets turned in last week
and only have 2 left.  I asked them to hold my name and call me if the
ferrets don't get placed but they wouldn't do that.  I will keep calling
every day to make sure they get placed or I will go pay for them and take
them to a shelter.  (I cant keep anymore, I have 4 already).
 
I sent the other # for the Washington DC Human Society to Rocky's Shelter
near DC.
