This is an e-mail from my friend who's vets are now using a different
canine distemper vaccine which replaced Galaxy D. These vets are in PA.

Dr. John, Dr. Kearse and Dr. Francumancara all recommended that I try
the Nobivac/Progard (took over galaxy) but since they do not make a
distemper only, they recommended the dpv (distemper and parvo vaccine).
they said that is what they have been using on ferrets for over a year
since galaxy refused to issue vaccines with less than a 3 month
expiration date. They said they have not had any reactions.

I will be ordering this vaccine once I can scrape up the money. It is
on sale right now through revival for just over $79 for a 25 pack.
