My ferret has yet to put on his winter coat this year, which in and of
itself is unusual in his 3 years.  Also, he almost seems like he's thinning
out, particularly on his tail.  I was told by the vet a couple of months ago
that losing hair on the tail is nothing to be concerned about, but to watch
out if he started losing hair on the rest of his body.  He isn't going bald,
but as I stated before, he seems thin on the hair, particularly for this
time of year.  Any suggestions or ideas on this?
