If you are running a ferret shelter and want to keep people informed of
your current donation needs, check out http://www.wishlist.com
You can set up a list of what items you want.  You can add links directly
to your favorite online catalogs, or just type in the item description by
hand.  I just tried it and it looks pretty straightforward; the only
'issue' is that it's set up for lookup by firstname/lastname and not by an
organization name.
 
A nice feature is that it keeps track of what people have gotten so far,
(people visiting your wishlist can update the 'has' quantity), and it helps
avoid the problem of lots of item A and none of item B.
 
If you set one up, you might want to note that on the next SOS shelter
update, or add it to your email signature to get people to go look. :-)
