Have any of you tried to introduce a beagle into you home?  As you may
(or may not) remember, I am in the process of buying my first home.  We
keep talking about getting a dog, and my SO wants a beagle.  How are they
with other pets?  Your ferrets?  My feelings are to get one as a puppy
and train it from the start, but have never had a beagle to know how hard
that would be.
 
Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated....
