I have seen the food debates and wanted to check on Path Valley food, there
really isn't much in my area for ferret food and what little the pet stores
carry cost at least $2 per pound (I could feed them a cheaper cut of steak
for that!) WalMart carrys some ferret food, I don't remember the brand, but
it is still expensive and seems to be mostly corn and rice which I know is
not good. when I first got my ferrets they were on Purina cat chow (not
good) and I have been looking for something else, but have not found
anything that looks like it would be much better. I have seen on the Net
that Path Valley Farms sells food for a very good price, and I would like to
try it, does anyone have any experience with it? With shipping it will run
about $1 per pound for the 25# bag, but just because it is specially for
ferrets does not seem to mean much (the same brand that makes the food I saw
at WalMart (mostly corn and Rice) has a special treat food especially for
ferrets which is dried peas carrots and other veggies (sounds more like a
treat for a rabbit) I would like to order some of this soon and move them to
a better food, if anyone has used this food or is familiar with it, please
let me know. Also you are welcome to eMail me privately.

Thanks,

P.S. Path Valley Farms Products homepage is at
http://206.228.73.57/product.htm
incase you would like to check it out yourselves. I am in no way connected
with Path Valley, just wanting to know if the food's any good.
