Sunshine and I just returned from the vets for her first rabies shot.  She
took it better than me.  When I realized the vet was going to give it in
the neck, I must have made a pained expression.  She told me not to look
and turned away from me before giving Sunshine the shot.
 
While hanging around to make certain there was no reaction, Sunshine made
friends with the girls out front.  She nosed her way thru their paperwork
and tried to use the credit card machine, not to mention make a couple of
phone calls.  She was keeping the four of us pretty busy.
 
I have a question regarding distemper shots.  How many are kits suppose to
receive in their first year?
 
I know if they're MF ferrets they receive one there.  Sunshine had her
second shot two weeks ago and I had made an appointment for a third.  But
this vet told me that all she needed was two.  Is this true?
