Scruffing works well to get pills down my little monkeys, you have to get
a good tight grip for this to work, without holding his little bottom,
let his little bod dangle, with the scruffing hand tilt his head back,
he will relax and his jaw will open.
 
 - POP goes the pill -=20
 
Then hold his mouth shut without covering his little nose and rub under
the chin by the back of the throat to help the pill slide down.
 
You can also cover the pill in a little Vaseline to make it slip down
easier.
 
To make it even easier you can use a pill popper.  It is like a long
straw with a plunger.  The end is kind of closed up a little with cuts
in it.  I have seen them at Walgreens and other big pharmacies.
 
Put the pill in the pill popper,
scruff the fert,=20
wait till he yawns,=20
insert the pill popper close to the back of the throat
and push the plunger.
