Greetings all
Just a couple issues. I wanted to relay to ya'll what recently happened to
one of my "kids". Geddy is 2 and a half years old. A little over 6 months
ago, he began loosing his hair, starting on his belly, then moved to his
tail/rear, then finally to his back. He was nearly bald. Throughout all
this, we took him to our regular vet, who suggested it was allergies, and
gave him a shot. Several weeks later, we saw no improvement. While we
went on vacation, the Brevard Ferret Shelter watched our kids. They took
Geddy to see their vet while he was down there. Their vet had the same
diagnosis.

Anyways, to make a long story short, we began to systematically change what
they were exposed to. The first to go was Nature's Miracle, which we used
to clean their cage. Within 3 weeks of that change, Geddy's hair started
to return. Now, 2 months later, he's got a full, thick coat. Our other
three ferrets showed no signs of being affected. I just wanted to relay
this, 'cause I never knew that they could have such an allergic reaction
to a chemical.

Secondly, I recently started showing my black and white photography. I've
created an series of online galleries, one of which is my 4 ferrets. I'm
just bragging as a happy "dad". Please have a look. The url is
