To Roger Mc.
Thanks for all the info. A few candid comments.
I got my entry form with my latest issue of Off the Paw. Will send it as soon
as we decide which furries to enter.

On the Michigan ferrets- I won't mention any names here, but we both know WHO
is responsible for the rumours. Some people just don't know when to quit. Nice
to see, tho, that the Mich Humane Society and DNR are still cooperating with
you on this.

You didn't mention about the Picnic in August... so I will. The GCFA will be
celebrating the 7th anniversary of the foounding of the shelter with a picnic
on August 27th at Deer Grove East Forest Preserves (near Palatine , IL) The
GCFA will provide Watermelon, Cold Soda and Roast Corn. If you need
directions to the picnic from a specific area, drop me or Rog some e-mail.
Bring along a pass-around dish or two to share with the other ferret lovers.
Ferrets are welcome too, as long as you provide for their safgety and comfort.

There's also the Craft Show on June 25th in Veteran's Park in Fox Lake, IL.
Lotsa crafts there and an auction to raise money for the shelter. Last I
heard, there were 26 critters in the shelter.
