Greetings to all humans and fur-people!

A long time ago I remember reading some posts on FML about ferrets' tails
smelling like flowers. Now that summer is here and my six are sporting
their summer coats (yes, we live in the desert; yes, they do still wear
coats!) all six tails are in full bloom. Honeysuckle, daisy, jasmine on
the back end; normal warm musky scent on the front end. Does anybody know
why ferrets have flower fannies? Or maybe it's only my six who are
blossom-butts...
