A short poem about something I saw the other day. Wanted to put it in
words. What do you think?

Up in the sky I saw them.
Looking of cotton, and rose petal white.
Fluffy center, dark edged gem.
Floating and sailing featherlight.

Wondering where their meandering began.
What sent them here to thrill my eyes?
Playing in a turquoise sky catch as catch can.
Flitting about like furry butterflies.

Streaming shafts of sunshine.
Highlighting an incredible sight.
Wishing they'd dance closer and be mine.
Cloud ferrets on a wind blown flight.
