I took a few minutes and wrote to the group..PAWS... concerning their
mistake on calling the domesticated ferret a wild animal.  I felt it was
important, because people watching that show, and any in the future may
think they can just throw their ferret in the woods when they tire of it.
There is enough of that already.
 
There are other reasons to write to the show.  But that was my big
concern.
 
My thanks to Karen for letting the group know that PAWS thought ferret
pets were actually wild animals.

As Karen points out, their address appears to be CA.  That very well
could be the reason they said that ferrets were wild animals.
