I wanted to vent because of the bad email I've been getting about descenting
my ferret.  First off if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't..but that
doesn't seem to matter now.  I am hurt and surprised by the negative email I
got in response to my post about the plight of Rikkitikkitavi.  I had one
person tell me how stupid I was for putting my ferret thru an incredibly
tramatic experience.  Like it didn't upset me as well to see my cherished
pet suffering from something I chose to do?  I even got an email from
someone who said if they knew who I was they'd turn me in to my local animal
control for cruelty!!!
 
Apparently I've rubbed this email group the wrong way and for that I'm
sorry..all I hoped for by subscribing was to gain wisdom from others and to
know that maybe somebody out there understands or has had the same
experience.
 
This experience has sadly forced me to consider resinging from the mailing
list.  All I wanted is to be part of a group who could *KINDLY* educate me
in taking care of my beloved ferrets.
 
Again I apologize for offending a few of you...it was unintentional.
