Hi Everyone,
 
Thanks again to all those who responded to my problem with Slinky.  I have
talked with Slinky's owner since she has returned, and let her meet my
five fuzzies.  Slinky's owner returned Tuesday evening and I called her
Wednesday afternoon.  We talked for 30 minutes about Slinky and how
everything went.  I told her that Slinky was allowing me to play with her
in the bag and even dooked for me, but Slinky would not allow me to touch
her without trying to nip at me.  The woman was surprised that I was brave
enough to try playing with and petting Slinky.  She told me know one else
had ever gone that far.  She was also happy that when she came home
everything was clean (poop & stuff).  She told me the other places she
hired never cleaned up.  The woman came to my place to meet my fuzzies on
Thursday.  She was surprised at how well they behaved and she was able to
pick mine up.  Of course, Sequoia, the oldest, started kissing me and she
couldn't believe it.  She left my place with a handful of Modern Ferret
Magazines and I told her to come back when she's done with those because I
have plenty more.  We also talked extensively about ferrets while she was
visiting.  I have to tell you I almost dropped over when she told me,
"Ferrets don't have good chewing teeth, there teeth are for sucking blood,
that is why they go for certain parts of your arms were your blood veins
are closest to the surface." Yes I know this is NOT true.  I don't know
about you guys but I don't have vampiric ferrets.  It's almost funny, but
she actually believed this to be true.  I can only hope that with the
information I have giving her will help dispel the rumors and myths she
believes.  I will keep you posted as to what if anything happens from here.
