My girls LOVE to go outside, but in very different ways. Maggie just
wants to go for a ride- she may get down for a few seconds, but then
wants right back up. She will just go to sleep in my shirt, but wants to
be included. Maru loves the snow (and the leaves, grass, anything"down"),
and she too, wants to be kept out but unlike Maggie, she wants to go with
me everywhere. She is perfectly happy to hang out in my sleeve, or her
pouch, or the nape of my neck, and peer out at the world. She loves the
grocery store, getting gas, anything. She also loves going in the car-
she climbs in her hammy and goes straight to sleep- lets me know when she
has to potty, and sometimes likes to watch while we drive. Maggie
doesn't want out of her crate, but wants to have a fit inside her crate-
chewing bars, hopping up and down. I take them both everywhere that we
can, and they love it. Especially now that the boys are gone we make
sppecial effort to arrange our schedules to suit the girls. It is well
worth it.
