Snow white ferret felt ill and had to leave.
Left behind many who would long grieve.
 
He was greeted with abundant love,
By many fuzzy angels up above.
 
His heart was so gentle and true,
And had a wee bit of daring do.
 
He could feel the pain in the one so dear,
Who could not tell that he was ever near.
 
He looked upon a beauteous rainbow,
And dragged it off, a special one to show.
 
She watched the azure sky that day,
And saw a rainbow come her way.
 
She knew it was from the heart of a certain little one.
He had brought her wonderment before the day was done.
 
And every time she saw a multicolored glory.
She remembered the love in one tiny ferrets story.
