Hi Harold ;
 
Congrats on the ferrets!  THey are about the greatest, I agree.
 
About rabies shots, live rabies will GIVE ferrets rabies, and they will die!
It has to be both KILLED rabies virus, and NOT made from ferret tissue,
which would also give them rabies.
